IslandUnit1.Additionally, PSEG has40-year operatinglicensesfromtheNRCandhasreceived20-year operatinglicense renewals
for SalemUnits1and2.OnDecember 8, 2010,Exelon announcedthat Generation will permanentlyceasegeneration operationsat

Generation expectsto applyfor andobtain approval oflicense renewalsfor theremainingnuclear units. The operatinglicense
renewal process takesapproximatelyfour to fiveyearsfromthecommencement ofthe renewal process untilcompletion ofthe
NRC’s review. TheNRCreviewprocess takesapproximatelytwoyearsfromthedocketingofan application.Each requestedlicense
renewal is expectedto befor 20 yearsbeyondtheoriginal licenseexpiration.Depreciation provisionsare basedon theestimated
useful livesofthestations, which reflecttheactual andassumedrenewal ofoperatinglicensesfor all ofGeneration’s operating
nuclear generatingstationsexcept for Oyster Creek.
InAugust 2012,Generation enteredinto an operatingservicesagreement withtheOmahaPublic Power District(OPPD) to provide
operational andmanagerial support servicesfor theFort Calhoun Station andalicensingagreement for useoftheExelon Nuclear
Management Model.The terms for bothagreementsare 20 years. OPPD will continue to ownthe plant andremaintheNRC
licensee.
Nuclear Uprate Program. Generation is engagedinindividual projectsaspart ofa plannedpower uprate programacross its
nuclear fleet.When economicallyviable,the projectstakeadvantageofnewproduction andmeasurement technologies, new
materialsandapplication ofexpertisegainedfromahalf-centuryofnuclear power operations. Basedon ongoingreviews, the
nuclear uprate implementation plan wasadjustedduring2013 to cancel certain projects. TheMeasurement UncertaintyRecapture
uprate projectsat theDresden andQuadCitiesnuclear stationswere cancelledasaresult ofthecostofadditional plant
modificationsidentifiedduringfinal designwork which, when combinedwiththen current market conditions, madethe projectsnot
