Quality is an expression of our goal to
offer reliable products and services.
In all aspects of our operations, from
product development and production,
to delivery and customer support, the
focus shall be on customers’ needs
and expectations. Our goal is to
exceed their expectations. With a
customer focus based on every-
one’s commitment and participa-
tion, combined with a process cul-
ture, our aim is

tion. This is based
on a culture in
which all employees
are responsive and
aware of what must
be accomplished to
be the best busi-
ness partner.
Safety involves how our products are used in
society. Many associate us with safety and
our goal is that they continue to do so in the future. A focus on safety
has long been an integral part of our product development efforts. Our
employees are highly aware of safety issues and apply the knowledge
gained in our internal crash investigation teams in product develop-
ment. Our goal is to reduce the risk of accidents and on the prevention
of injury in the event of an accident and to improve the safety and work
environment for the drivers of our vehicles and machines.
Safety
We believe that it is self-evident that our products and our oper-
ations shall have the lowest possible adverse impact on the envir-
onment. We are working to further improve energy efficiency and
to reduce emissions in all aspects of our business, with particular
focus on the use of our products. Our goal is that the Volvo Group
shall be ranked as a leader in environmental care. To achieve this
goal, we strive for a holistic view, continuous improvement, tech-
nical development and efficient resource utilization.
