Until the event of this term, the indigenous teachers and students,
seniors and parents involved were more than 2,000 persons, and more than
1,500 logs and 208 pieces of science work have been completed. Via the
cloud platform, the indigenous junior high school students and primary school
students may proceed with the scientific keynote study on what happens in the
living environment at tribe, with accompany of the seniors and parents, to
upgrade their competency for competing with the mainstream students in the
society. Such mode is clear and feasible, and the scientific education results
were recognized. The Company also established the cooperative mechanism
dedicated to promoting the indigenous people’s scientific education
permanently involving multiple sectors such as industry, government,
academic sector and media.
(7) Community service and cultural & educational activities
ASUS and ASUS Foundation continue to sponsor art and cultural
activities to care the locals, have the whole world in view and fulfill corporate
social responsibility, in hopes of enhancing investment of resources in arts and
cultures to upgrade the national spirit life quality, in the capacity of a citizen.
a. Kuandu Arts Festival
Considering that ASUS has developed its business in the territories
of Kuandu for more than two decades but had few connections with the
territories, in 2015, Taipei National University of the Arts, situated in the
territories of Kuandu, proposed ASUS to co-organize the event “Kuandu
Arts Festival” with it in the territories of Kuandu, in hopes of boosting the
relationship with neighbors, care the people, things and substance in the
territories of Kuandu, and making Kuandu become an arts & technology
center in Taipei City. For this event, ASUS called on hundreds of
employees to participate in parade, bazaar and show, and attend the street
parade carrying with the chip belt consisting of 2,357 chips, which was
designed by ASUS design team. The gain earned from bazaar will be fed
back to the local tutoring center and Taiwan Fund for Children and Women
to help disadvantaged children.
b. DaAi TV Public Welfare Advertisement
Since 2008, the Company has sponsored DaAi TV to produce the
programs dedicated to purifying people’s mind to promote humane
education, encourage honesty, integrity and contribution, stimulate constant
strength benefiting the society, and make each inch of the land tell love and
touching stories for seven years. Themed with National Museum of
Marine Biology and Aquarium and Hakka Round House in 2015, ASUS
told its passionate and value toward Taiwan through the video of 30
seconds.
