As of December 31, 2006, there was $12 million of total unrecognized compensation costs related to RSUs which will be allocated
to AWA and US Airways. These costs are expected to be recognized over a weighted average period of 1.1 years. The total fair value of
restricted stock awards vested during 2006 was $3 million. No restricted stock vested during 2005 or 2004.
Stock Options and Stock Appreciation Rights — Stock options and stock appreciation rights ("SARs") are granted with an exercise
price equal to the fair market value of US Airways Group common stock at the date of each grant, generally become exercisable over a
three to four-year period and expire if unexercised at the end of ten years. Stock options and SARs are classified as equity awards. The
exercise of SARs will be settled with the issuance of shares of US Airways Group's common stock.
