During 2013 market conditions varied between different
parts of the world. Towards the end of the year the Euro-
pean market was strengthened by many customers
choosing to pre-buy new trucks ahead of the transition to
the new Euro 6 emission standard, which came into effect
at the turn of the year. Trucks equipped with Euro 6 engines
have lower emission levels but are also more
expensive than their predecessors.
Facts The truck operation’s product offer stretches from
heavy-duty trucks for long-haulage and construction
work to light-duty trucks for distribution. The offering
also includes maintenance and repair services,
fi nancing and leasing.
