Holders of The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. com-
mon stock are entitled to receive dividends when declared
by the Board of Directors out of funds legally available. The
Board presently intends to continue the policy of paying
quarterly cash dividends. However, future dividends will
depend on earnings, the financial condition of The PNC
Financial Services Group, Inc. and other factors including
applicable government regulations and policies and con-
tractual restrictions.
