awards. ASUS outperforms competitors in the Personal Electronics, Computer

January 2011 ASUS is recognized with 8 awards at the iF event in Germany, winning more awards
than other competitors. Winning products include Rampage III Extreme
motherboard, Eee Note, Eee PC KR, SBW-06C2S-U Burner, RT-N56U wireless
router, game notebook G53/G73, N-series audio notebook, and U36 Ultra-thin
notebook.
March 2011 ASUS launches the Eee Pad Transformer with Android® 3.0 operating system. The
Eee Pad Transformer features the deformation function, with 3-in-1 base and

April 2011 The 2011 Energy Star Certification is held in Washington D.C. (U.S.A.). ASUS
receives “Excellence in Efficient Product Design” award as the ASUS-designed
Super-Hybrid Engine (SHE) with super energy-saving technology is praised by the
Environmental Protection Agency.
May 2011 ASUS Eee Pad Transformer wins the 2011 Taipei Computex Best Choice Award in
the Best Design and Computer and Systems categories. The world’s first
halogen-free monitor—VW247H-HF—and the Bamboo series
notebooks—U43SD—are awarded with the Green ICT Award. The o!Play Gallery
high-speed USB 3.0 player is awarded Best Choice in the category of Display and
Digital Entertainment while the two-way HDMI Streaming Media Center WAVI won
Best Choice in the Telecommunication category. ASUS outperforms the competition
with 7 awards.
June 2011 ASUS establishes the Shou Yang Digital Technology Co., Ltd, with the acquisition of
AAEON Technology. Shou Yang is the existing corporation after the merger and
acquisition, the company is renamed to AAEON Technology on July 4, 2011. ASUS
Group now holds 65% of the integrated ownership.
June 2011 ASUS introduces the new branding vision of

n Search of Incredible, which is used
in marketing of the ASUS N series and highlighted in Jay Chou’s special notebook
edition that focused on combining technology and art.
July 2011 TAITRA organizes the Top 100 Taiwan Brands as part of the centennial celebration
