ranks ASUS in first place for 2007 Environmental Protection. ASUS becomes the

December 2007 ASUS is ranked top in the Sustainability Award by the Executive Branch. The
award is presented to the ASUS Chairman by the Minister of Executive Yuan.
December 2007 Dr. Yahya AJJ Jammeh, President of the Republic of Gambia, and 32 State
officers visit ASUS and show strong interest in the Eee PC.
December 2007 Chunghwa Telecom and ASUS announce a strategic alliance to integrate resources
for the construction of an advanced digital center and to initiate charity activity
with the donation of 1,000 Eee PCs to schools in remote areas of northern, central,
southern, and eastern Taiwan.
