At DineEquity, we are committed to making positive
contributions to the communities we serve. This is why
we are proud to sponsor events like National Pancake
Day at IHOP and Veterans Day at Applebee’s.
Our momentum is
unstoppable.
For ve years running, IHOP has invited guests nation-
wide to enjoy a free short stack of IHOP’s signature
buttermilk pancakes, and, in return, to consider donating
to Childrens Miracle Network and other designated local
charities. To date, IHOP’s National Pancake Day efforts
have generated more than $5.3 million in donations which
have helped provide research, education and care for millions
of children around the country. Giving back is a hallmark
of what the IHOP brand stands for.
At Applebee’s, we saluted more than one million of
America’s veterans and active duty service men and
women with a special Veterans Day event in November
2009. In recognition of their service to our country,
America’s veterans and active duty military from coast to
coast were invited to enjoy a free entrée. It was our way of
thanking Americas real heroes, the men and women of
the military who help keep our neighborhoods safe. We
plan to do it again in 2010, and for years to come.
