Since 2009, PECO hasenteredinto contractsthrough acompetitive procurement process inorder to meet a portion ofitsdefault
servicecustomers’ electric supplyrequirementsfor 2011 through 2016. See Note 3RegulatoryMattersfor further information
regardingtheDSP Programs.
ComEd is subjecttorequirementsestablishedbytheIllinois Settlement Legislation andtheEnergy Infrastructure Modernization Act
relatedto theuseofalternative energy resources. PECO is subjecttorequirementsrelatedto theuseofalternative energy
resourcesestablishedbytheAEPS Act. BGE is subjecttorequirementsestablishedbythePublic UtilitiesArticle inMarylandrelated
to theuseofalternative energy resources; however,thewholesale suppliersthat supplypower to BGE through SOS procurement
auctionshavetheobligation,bycontractwith BGE, to meet theRPS requirement. BGE hasenteredinto contractswithcurtailment
servicesprovidersinaccordancewiththeMarch 2009 MDPSC order.See Note 3RegulatoryMattersfor additional information
relatingto electric generation procurement,alternative energy resourcesandenergy efficiency programs.
ComEd’s, PECO’s and BGE’s electric supplyprocurement,curtailment services, REC andAEC purchasecommitmentsasof

terms. Pursuant to theICC’s Order on December 19, 2012,ComEd’s commitmentsunder theexistinglong-termcontractswere reducedfor theJune 2013 through May
2014procurement period. TheICC’s December 18, 2013 order approvedthereduction ofComEd’s commitmentsunder thelong-termcontractsfor theJune 2014through
May2015procurement period, however theamount ofthereduction will not befinalizedandapprovedbytheICC untilMarch 2014. See Note 3RegulatoryMattersfor
