“Marketing expense” consists of marketing costs relating to OPSM trademarks, as prescribed by license contracts
with Luxottica Retail Australia PTY Ltd, as well as the Ray-Ban, Arnette, Persol, Vogue, Killer Loop, Sferoflex and
Luxottica trademarks, owned by Luxottica Group S.p.A., as of June 2007.
Other service costs primarily consist of Euro 40.6 million in transport costs, Euro 6.9 million in computer outsourcing
services, Euro 2 million in data transmission costs and Euro 1.5 million in administrative costs recharged by Group
companies.
