Overall assessment of anticipated future developments
With production, deliveries and profit reaching new record levels, the past fiscal year of 2012 was
a very successful one for the Audi Group. The Company yet again demonstrated its competitive-
ness and profitability.
Even if the wider economic situation remains challenging, the Board of Management of AUDI AG
believes the Company is well-placed to achieve sustained, qualitative growth over the long term.
The Company has laid the foundations for this growth by maintaining its model initiative, system-
atically improving efficiency and developing a steady stream of innovative technologies. The high
motivation and expertise of the Audi Group’s workforce will secure its long-term corporate success.
It will systematically pursue the measures already launched to optimize processes and improve
costs, with a positive impact on the development of the Company.
The Audi Group therefore fundamentally expects to continue its course of growth in 2013
and 2014.
