Because customers have told us they want
greener, cleaner energy at a reasonable cost,
we are expanding our renewable energy portfolio
and reducing our reliance on coal.
In the Upper Midwest, for example, we are
proposing to double our renewable resources
and reduce carbon emissions 40 percent from
2005 levels by 2030. That will result in a balanced
energy mix that is 63 percent carbon free.
