post-consumer waste. All of the electricity used to manufacture McCoy Silk
is Green-e® certifi ed renewable energy.
According to the emissions calculator provided by the Environmental Protection
Agency,* the CO2 emissions avoided by choosing to print using McCoy Silk,
compared with a paper with emissions falling within the industry average, is
equivalent to:
• 179 gallons of gasoline consumed
• 60.5 propane cylinders used for home barbeques
• 1,114 pounds of waste recycled instead of being sent to a landfi ll
• Carbon sequestered by 41 tree seedlings grown for 10 years
