(2) each hour for which he is entitled, either by award or agreement, to back pay from a Participating Company or
an Affiliated Company, irrespective of mitigation of damages; or
(3) each hour for which he is directly or indirectly paid or entitled to payment by a Participating Company or an
Affiliated Company on account of a period of time during which no duties are performed due to vacation, holiday, illness, incapacity (including
disability), jury duty, layoff, leave of absence, or military duty.
(b) Anything to the contrary in subsection (a) notwithstanding:
(1) No Hours of Service shall be credited to an Employee for any period merely because, during such period,
payments are made or due him under a plan maintained solely for the purpose of complying with applicable workers’ compensation,
unemployment compensation, or disability insurance laws.
(2) No more than 501 Hours of Service shall be credited to an Employee under subsection (a)(3) of this definition
on account of any single continuous period during which no duties are performed by him, except to the extent otherwise provided in the Plan.
(3) No Hours of Service shall be credited to an Employee with respect to payments solely to reimburse for medical
or medically related expenses.
(4) No Hours of Service shall be credited twice.
(5) Hours of Service shall be credited at least as liberally as required by the rules set forth in U.S. Department of
Labor Reg. §2530.200b-2(b) and (c).
(6) In the case of an Employee who is such solely by reason of service as a Leased Employee, Hours of Service
shall be credited as if such Employee were employed and paid with respect to such service (or with respect to any related absences or
entitlements) by the Participating Company or Affiliated Company that is the recipient thereof.
“ Investment Medium ” means any fund, contract, obligation, or other mode of investment to which a Participant may direct the
investment of the assets of his Account.
“ Investment Stock ” means Comcast Corporation Class A Special Common Stock.
“ Leased Employee ” means any person, other than an employee of a Participating Company or an Affiliated Company, who, pursuant
to an agreement between a Participating Company or an Affiliated Company (the “recipient”) and any other individual (“leasing organization”),
has performed services for the recipient (or for the recipient and related individuals) on a substantially full-time basis for a period of at least one
year, and such services are performed by such individuals under the primary direction and control of the recipient, provided that for purposes of
determining whether an individual is an Eligible Employee and for
