(7) Virgin Media Limited is one of our principal operating companies, although significant portions of our
operations are conducted through its subsidiaries.
On October 1, 2009, our common stock was admitted to the Official List of the Financial Services Authority
and commenced secondary trading on the main market of the London Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol
“VMED.” We did not issue any new common shares in connection with our London listing. The primary listing
for the shares of our common stock is the NASDAQ Global Select Market.
