A perfect blend of power and performance, the Xbox One’s
8-core x86 processor lets gamers easily switch between a
game and their favorite entertainment apps, watch television
and movies and more. The Xbox One has a redesigned and
more responsive controller. A re-engineered Kinect camera
now shoots in full 1080p HD at 60 frames per second
and is always listening so that it can recognize commands.
The Xbox One also allows users to play games as they are
downloading and users can share content and show off
their Gamerscore like never before.
The PlayStation 4 combines rich and immersive gameplay
with powerful graphics and speed and a connected gaming
community. The PS4™ has a redesigned Dualshock controller
offering precision, comfort and a user interface that allows
gamers to be socially connected like never before: stream the
games that they play, view what friends are playing, voice-chat
across games, send messages across platforms and upload
gameplay to social platforms. Users can also play as they
download, purchase content using the mobile companion app
and with “Remote Play” on the PS4 and PlayStation®Vita, they
can enjoy their games anywhere there is an internet connection.
The release of the Xbox One and PS4 has been the biggest generational shift in console technology
in seven years and has transformed gaming entertainment. Now with significant media and
social features, the innovations of both systems are bringing changes within the industry and
introducing new intellectual property, new games, products, services and user experiences.
