Philippine Care Foundation in Philippines, providing computer
education to remote residents in Philippines.
¾ Vietnam: 12 digital learning centers have been established as of 2012.
¾ Assisting the provincial government with computer donation in 2011,
World Vision Vietnam Plan and Shunhua Workstation by establishing
10 computer rooms. The project continued in 2012 and established 2
digital learning centers in 2 elemeentary libraries in Vienam in order to
assist local children and residents with learning.
¾ Thailand: 3 digital learning centers have been established as of 2012.
Asus donated computers to norther boundary of Thailand in 2010, ZOA
refugee camp by establishing 2 computer rooms.
Asus donated computers to Nonthaburi Center for Independent Living
in 2012 to enhance the ICT user ability for persons with disabilities in
that area and to improve their survival skills with independence.
¾ Peru: 3 digital learning centers have been established as of 2012.
Asus donated computers in 2011 to help the President elementary
school and World Vision with establishment of 2 computer rooms.
ASUS continued to work with WORLD VISION in 2012 in the poorest
place Andes of PERU by establishing the third computer room,
providing digital learning for local students.
b. Cooperation witih Ministry of Foreign Affairs: ASUS Cooperated with
Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Gautemala, Dominica, and Nicaraga by setting
18 ASUS computer rooms in 18 school, with the following description: ࡋ-
GuatemalaǺ 20 digital learning centers have been established as of 2012,
distributing in junior, elementary and occupationsl schools in 11 provinces.
Sun Da Cheng Diplomat was particularly valued on thie project with
excellent reactions. The cooperation is entering its 5th year since 2009.
- ASUS donated 122 computers (80 recycled computers) to establish ASUS
computer rooms in 8 schools and assist local students with digital learning.
- DominicaǺ Cooperated with Dominica diplomat Hou Ping Fu in 2012 for
the first time by donating 122 computers (80 recycled computers) to
establish ASUS computer rooms in 5 schools and assist local students with
digital learning.
- Nicaraga: Cooperated with Nicaraga Diplomat Xie Ying Hui in 2012 by
donating 61 computers (40 computers are recycled) to the 3 schools for
establishing ASUS Computer rooms to help local students with digital
learning.
- Overseas donation:
¾ International volunteer plan: cooperating with computer classroom and
international volunteer serice, a total of 261 computers have been
donated to Philippines (Southern University of Tainan), Tanzania
(Tsing Hwa University). India (Chiao Tung University). Guatemala
(Ministry of Foreign Affairs), Dominica (Ministry of Foreign Affairs),
and Nicaraga (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), in addition to establishing
22 computer rooms and digital teaching curriculum.
- Contribution to other charity groups: Assisting domestic charity with digital
learning, rebuilding for the blind, social care asscoaition, teachers
