3. Maintenance of social welfare
(1) ASUS complies with relevant labor acts and respect for the
internationally recognized basic labor and human rights principles to
p
rotect the legitimate rights and interests of employees while
maintaining non-discriminating treatment, thereby to establish proper
management methods, procedures, and implementation.
(2) ASUS provides workers with safe and healthy working environment;
also, provide regularly safety and health education
(3) ASUS establishes periodic communication scheme for employees and
notify the employees of possible operating changes that bring major
impacts to the employees through reasonable approcaches.
(4) ASUS defines and announces the consumer policy; also, the clear and
effective consumer complaints procedures provided for ASUS
products and services
(5) ASUS works with suppliers to upgrade corporate social responsibility.
(6) ASUS participates in community development and charity activities

y commercial activities, materials donation, corporate volunteers
service, and other free special services
(1) ASUS follows the governing labor laws, protects employee’s
interest; also, drafts up “Employee’s Code of Ethics” and opinion
box for employee’s filing an appeal.
(2) ASUS has labor safety and health unit setup lawfully; also,
qualified OHSAS 18001 labor safety and health system
certification continuously. ASUS provides labor safety and health
education and training to the new recruits, employees, and
contractors for their safety and health protection.
(3) ASUS holds labor meeting quarterly. In the event of major changes
in operation, the Company’s PR or competent departmental supervisor
shall explain to employees through public chanels (including seminar,
announcement, and email).
(4) ASUS has setup consumer complaints procedures and methods by

(5) ASUS routinely hold supplier assembly for advocacy in corporate
social responsibilities to effectively supervise the implementation
progress of suppliers and contractors in corporate social
responsibilities by executing the following planning operations:
1. Request suppliers and contractors to sign and comply with ASUS
conduct and norms.
2. Execute annual supplier chair CRS on-site audit and expand the
scope of on-site audit for supply chain.
3. Execute supply chain education and training.
4. Analyze the past supply chain CSR audit results for improvement
(6) ASUS has participated in community development and charity
activities through ASUS Foundation. Please refer to the Corporate
Sustainability Report “Social Participation”.
