succeeds Karl-Erling Trogen, who will

issues as well as Group responsibil-
ity for certain developing markets,
including India and China. Tony
Helsham was appointed President of
Volvo Construction Equipment and a
member of the Volvo Group
Executive Committee, effective June
5, 2000. Salvatore L Mauro was
