Annual General Meeting, April 25
The Annual General Meeting of AB Volvo will be held in Göteborg in Lisebergs-
hallen (entrance from Örgrytevägen) on Wednesday, April 25, 2001 at 2:00 p.m.
Notice
Shareholders who wish to participate must:
be recorded in the share register maintained by VPC AB (Swedish Central
Securities Depository) not later than April 12, 2001
give notice of intention to attend not later than 12:00 noon, Thursday, April 19, 2001
• by telephone, +46 31 66 00 00 beginning March 26
• by mail addressed to AB Volvo (publ), Legal Department, SE-405 08 Göteborg,
Sweden
• by e-mail [email protected]
When giving notice, shareholders should state their:
• name
• personal number (registration number)
• address and telephone number
Shareholders whose shares are held in the trust department of a bank or by a
brokerage firm should request that the shares be temporarily reregistered in the
shareholder’s name several banking days prior to April 12, 2001.
April 30 has been proposed as the record date for payment of dividends, which
are expected to be distributed on May 4.
Volvo’s Nominating Committee
The following persons were named members of Volvo’s Nominating Committee at
the 2000 Annual General Meeting:

Bo Eklöf Försäkringsbolaget SPP
William af Sandeberg SEB Investment Management
Lars Ramqvist Chairman of the Board of AB Volvo
Bengt Hane Representative for shareholders with smaller holdings
The Nominating Committee is responsible for submitting to the Annual General
Meeting the names of candidates to serve as members of the Board of Directors
and as auditors and deputy auditors. The Committee also proposes the amount
of the fees to be paid to the holders of these positions.
