Issuer Purchases of Equity Securities
Pursuant to the Share Repurchase Program, Starwood repurchased 13.6 million Corporation Shares in the open
market for an aggregate cost of $593 million during 2008. We did not repurchase any Corporation Shares during the
three months ended December 31, 2008.
As of December 31, 2008, no repurchase capacity remained available under our Share Repurchase
Authorization.
