On January 23, 2013, the Company successfully completed the acquisition of Alain Mikli
International, the French luxury and contemporary eyewear player. The consideration paid
for the acquisition was Euro85.4 million. Net sales generated by Alain Mikli International
in 2012 were approximately Euro 55.5 million. The Company uses various methods
to calculate the fair value of the Mikli assets acquired and the liabilities assumed. The
valuation processes have not been concluded as of the date this financial statements were
authorized for issue. In accordance with IFRS 3, the fair value of the net assets and liabilities
assumed will be defined within 12 months from the acquisition date.
