Bridging physical and digital to improve workflow
J&B Importers supplies parts and accessories to
nearly 6,000 bike shops, generating more than a
million documents a year. To speed invoicing and
warehouse documentation and provide backup for
disaster recovery, J&B installed our new digital
imaging and workfl ow system, which integrates everything from online
orders to handwritten originals. Operators work faster and with fewer errors,
ensuring J&B’s ability to meet its pledge of same-day response.
Building on our strengths
Starting from our core capabilities of processing mail and managing
postage funds, we’ve pushed every part of the mailstream to effi cien-
cies undreamed of only a few years ago.
We’ve taken the world’s most advanced paper-handling tech-
nology and found new ways to boost throughput and reliability. We’ve
inte grated multiple disciplines and technologies into solutions to
automate production, optimize workfl ow and speed transactions.
And we’ve applied our command of shipping logistics and postal
infrastructure to help break barriers of distance, time, rates and costs.
Public/private partnership
By merging six print/copy/mail
centers into one and hiring
Pitney Bowes to run it, the
state of Indiana is saving
millions a year. To make
