The Mota-Clem family was spending a
quiet evening at home when Aline began
feeling weak and nauseous.
Their carbon monoxide detector alerted
ADT that the deadly gas was seeping
from their faulty water heater. ADT quickly
dispatched the re department and
guided the family outside to safety.

ADT sent rst responders to Gilles
Jones’ Lantier, Quebec home after heavy
smoke activated his detector. Hearing
no response, reghters broke down the
door and discovered Gilles unconscious
on the oor, in diabetic shock. They
rushed him to a nearby hospital, saving
his life as well as his home.
