time in succession, the BMW Group was judged by
the Carbon Disclosure Project to be “Best in Class in
2006 for its strategy in the face of climate change.
The BMW Group is now included in the Climate
Leadership Index. The Carbon Disclosure Project
is an initiative started by institutional investors evalu-
ating companies on the basis of how they face up
to the challenges of climate change.
