members. In the spring, we partnered with Jennifer
Hudson as our celebrity spokesperson and launched an
aggressive marketing campaign, which fully integrated
all aspects of our marketing mix – television, website,
Internet, public relations and direct mail. As an Academy
Award®, Golden Globe® and Grammy Award®-winning
singer and actress, Jennifer was exceptionally embraced
by the public. Jennifer’s success and commitment to
Weight Watchers has been inspiring. In addition to
having broad-based appeal, she is a true believer in the
Weight Watchers approach to a healthy lifestyle and one
who actively follows the program. As a result, she is able
to genuinely and authentically articulate the beneÄ ts of
using our program. Our marketing platform in 2011
builds off of this campaign, featuring Jennifer
accompanied by other real-life members’ testimonials.
We are extremely pleased with the results so far and are
excited about what the coming year has to offer.
In April, our WeightWatchers.com business launched a
new advertising campaign that highlights the
experiences of successful subscribers, giving them a
platform to talk about and share the positive impact
Weight Watchers Online has had on their lives.
WeightWatchers.com continues to be an important
growth vehicle for our business. Internet revenues grew
21.8% in 2010. While we have passed the 1.0 million
Online subscriber milestone, we continue to see
tremendous growth potential for Weight Watchers Online
in 2011 and beyond.
Weight Watchers also remains committed to product
development and innovation to make the weight loss
process even easier and more convenient. We have
introduced many new products to our meeting rooms,
entered into new licensing and endorsement
partnerships to offer consumers even more variety in the
grocery store, and published several new books.

to improve the functionality of our Internet products in
