Corporate Citizenship
Microsoft’s citizenship mission is to serve globally the
needs of communities and fulfill our responsibilities to
the public. With our citizenship commitments, we seek
to advance our company mission to empower every
person and every organization on the planet to achieve
more through our corporate policies and business
practices, our products, and our investments in
communities. We appreciate the inquiries we receive
from many investors about our citizenship work, which
contributes long-term value to our business, our
shareholders, and communities around the world. When
individuals and societies thrive, so do we. That’s a
guiding philosophy behind Microsoft YouthSpark, a
three-year commitment we surpassed this year to
create opportunities for 300 million youth through
technology, training and experiences. It’s also why we
seek to do business in principled ways that respect
people and the planet.
