When does the future begin ? Many think it starts tomorrow,
but we at Audi believe otherwise : Our future begins today !
After all, what happens tomorrow is built upon what we do
today. This is the central theme of our  Annual Report :
tomorrow.now!
No doubt, these are especially challenging times. But this is
precisely what motivates us at Audi to give our all. In the
course of the diesel issue our primary focus remains on the
trust of our customers and therefore on uncomplicated and
sustainable solutions. A record number of deliveries once
again in  confirms that we are on the right path.
Our industry is undergoing change – now is the time for
something new : new drive systems, new assistance systems,
new alliances. Because the connected car requires a connected
world, we have formed new partnerships in digital maps and
services. And because the intelligent car can only fully develop
its enormous potential in an intelligent city, we are working in
cooperation with the cities. As part of our Audi Urban Future
Initiative, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed with
the city of Somerville in November , during the
Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona. On the east
coast of the United States, we will be testing innovations like
piloted parking and the next generation of connect services
for the city of the future.
In the words of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe : “Success has
