Goodwill arising on consolidation, brands and customer relationships
The opening balance at 1 April 2009 pertained to balances from SATS Group, which was disposed on
1 September 2009 pursuant to the dividend in specie distribution.
Licences
In 2007-08, SIAEC acquired 100.0% equity interest in Aircraft Maintenance Service Australia Pty Ltd.
Upon acquisition, licences to operate in Australia were capitalised.
The disposal of licences in the previous financial year of $27.3 million pertained to balances from SATS
Group, which was disposed on 1 September 2009 pursuant to the dividend in specie distribution.
