(1) Our Board of Directors previously authorized stock repurchases of up to $1.0 billion of our outstanding Class A
common stock through and including December 31, 2015. On November 3, 2015, our Board of Directors extended
this authorization such that we are currently authorized to repurchase up to $1.0 billion of our outstanding Class A
common stock through and including December 31, 2016.
Purchases under our repurchase program may be made
through open market purchases, privately negotiated transactions, or Rule 10b5-1 trading plans, subject to market
conditions and other factors. We may elect not to purchase the maximum amount of shares allowable under this
program and we may also enter into additional share repurchase programs authorized by our Board of Directors.

The selected consolidated financial data as of and for each of the five years ended December 31, 2015 have been derived
from, and are qualified by reference to our consolidated financial statements. As of December 31, 2013, Blockbuster had
ceased material operations. The results of Blockbuster are presented for all periods as discontinued operations in our
consolidated financial statements. See Note 9 in the Notes to our Consolidated Financial Statements in this Annual
Report on Form 10-K for additional information regarding our discontinued operations.
Certain prior year amounts have been reclassified to conform to the current year presentation. See further information
