The Seller shall have the right to inspect the affected Aircraft and documents and other records relating thereto in the
event of any claim under this Subclause 12.1.
The Buyer is hereby authorized to perform the repair of Warranted Parts, subject to the terms of this Subclause
12.1.7 (“ In-house Warranty ”). The Buyer shall notify the Seller’
s representative of its decision to perform
any in-
house repairs before such repairs are commenced, unless it is not practical to do so, in which case the
Buyer shall notify the Seller of the in-house repair as soon as reasonably practicable.
The Buyer shall be entitled to the benefits under this Subclause 12.1.7 for repair of Warranted Parts:
The Seller shall have the right, provided that no unreasonable delay shall result, to have any Warranted Part, or
any part removed therefrom, which is claimed to be defective, returned to the Seller, as set forth in Subclause
12.1.6(ii), if, in the reasonable judgment of the Seller, the nature of the defect requires technical investigation.
The Seller shall further have the right, provided that no unreasonable delay shall result, to have a
representative present during the disassembly, inspection and testing of any Warranted Part claimed to be
defective.

(a)
only if adequate facilities and qualified personnel are available to the Buyer,
(b)
in accordance with the Seller’
s written instructions set forth in documents such as the Aircraft Maintenance
Manual, Component Maintenance Manual (Manufacturer), Component Maintenance Manual
(Vendor) and Structural Repair Manual, and
(c)
only to the extent specified by the Seller, or, in the absence of such specification, to the extent reasonably
necessary to correct the defect, in accordance with the standards set forth in Subclause 12.1.10..
