COMMUNITY RELATIONS
Foot Locker, Inc. takes great pride in
supporting the communities in which it
operates by contributing funds, sponsor-
ing fund-raising events and providing
products to benefit worthy causes. In
late 2001, the Company established the
Foot Locker Foundation, which today
offers its assistance to various communi-
ties and charitable organizations around
the world. Since its inception, the Foot
Locker Foundation has hosted its annual
On Our Feet Fundraising Gala to sup-
port various worthwhile initiatives. For
the past five years, the Foundation has
raised money through this event for the
United Negro College Fund, providing
college scholarships to more than 250
worthy students.
For the past seven years, Foot Locker,
Inc. has contributed to the American
Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against
Breast Cancer Walk. The Company also
raised funds for this organization through
the sale of exclusively-designed pink-
ribbon product in its stores throughout
the United States.
For nearly two decades, Foot Locker,
Inc. has worked side-by-side with the
Fred Jordan Mission, donating shoes and
supplies to impoverished children in Los
Angeles. Since first partnering with the
Mission, Foot Locker, Inc. has donated
nearly 100,000 pairs of shoes to children
in need.
Foot Locker, Inc. also supports the
communities where it does business by
contributing to various organizations such
as Save the Children. Going forward, the
Company will strive to continue to be
an active sponsor of various community
involvement programs and support other
worth-while causes and organizations.
