“One ” – redesigning 
With excellent  work, we intend to contribute to the performance of the Group
and its divisions, whilst safeguarding the balance between Group-wide harmonisation
and divisional / regional independence. In , we began to transform the content
and structure of our Human Resources activities with the launch of our One  pro-
gramme. Our objective is to create a globally integrated  management and, over the
course of the reporting year, important steps were taken towards this goal: corporate
and divisional structures were redesigned, a cross-divisional  decision-making body
was established, and a globally applicable  process framework created.
In future, Group-wide strategies and standards will be introduced across all areas of
. Furthermore, we intend to take strategic action to achieve success by way of ten key
initiatives, including talent management, diversity and leadership development training.
ese changes within the  organisation are being accompanied by a batch of
measures, including a network of promoters set up specically to help facilitate the
changes and a new training programme designed for all  employees within the Group.
Employee opinion survey with good results
e annual results of our global employee opinion survey represent
indicators relevant
for internal management. e objective is to measure employee commitment within the
Group and ensure it is further encouraged via appropriate measures. e conduct of
management is very important in this respect and it is for this very reason the “Active
Leadership is tied to management bonuses. Overall, the results were good across
the Group, with all areas rated as better than or unchanged from the prior-year results.
Participation during the reporting year lagged slightly behind that of the prior year as
a result of adjustments in communication and reporting practices.
