At the end of January, Deutsche Post DHL announced that
it had entered into a new contract with  airline Southern Air,
thereby expanding and extending the partnership with the airline.
Lease obligations amounting to  million will arise in this
context.
e domestic parcel business in Poland, the Czech Repub-
lic, Belgium and the Netherlands was consolidated in the 
division, eective  January . is business was previously part
of the  and  ,  divisions.
On  February , the Board of Management, subject to
the consent of the Supervisory Board, resolved upon an ordinary
increase in capital (Authorised Capital ) by , no par-
value shares in order to service the  tranche of the share-based
payment system for executives (Share Matching Scheme) due
on  April . e planned dividend payment will increase by
