registration information services, at the end of July. e company complements the
range of digital address verication services oered by the  division.
In the fourth quarter, we increased our interest in the  company Tradeteam
Limited from .  to  .
Currency effects cause .  decline in consolidated revenue
Consolidated revenue declined slightly by .  to , million in nancial
year  (previous year: , million). e proportion of consolidated revenue
generated abroad declined from .  to . , largely due to negative currency
eects of , million. Changes in the portfolio reduced revenue by  million. At
, million, revenue in the fourth quarter was down .  year-on-year ( previous
year: , million). e gure was negatively impacted by currency eects of
 million and changes in the portfolio.
Other operating income declined by  million to , million. In the previous
year, provisions relating to the  express business that were no longer required had
been reversed.
Lower transport costs
Materials expense declined by  million to , million, due in particular to
currency eects.
At , million, sta costs were on a level with the prior year (, million).
Labour costs in the  division and the higher number of employees in the 
 division caused sta costs to increase, whilst currency eects reduced this item.
At , million, depreciation, amortisation and impairment losses also remained
at the previous year’s level (, million).
Other operating expenses declined by  million to , million. e prior-year
gure had been pushed up by the additional  payment, amongst other factors.
