Changes in our Level 3 assets, which are recorded in other comprehensive earnings / (losses), for the year ended December 31,
2012 included:
The increases in Level 3 pension plan investments during 2012 were due to the net realized gains recorded on the investments,
partially offset by net transfers out, primarily related to assets divested with the Spin-Off of Kraft Foods Group.
