2015 was a year of great achievement and accomplishments at Dollar
Tree. We continue to be a large and growing company with a long
history of sector leading protability. With the acquisition of Family
Dollar, we concluded the year as a stronger and more diverse retail
organization with even more opportunity. We plan to operate and grow
both banners. Our Dollar Tree segment is the leading operator of discount
variety stores oering merchandise at the xed price point of $1.00. Our
Family Dollar segment operates general merchandise discount retail stores
providing customers with a selection of competitively priced merchandise in
convenient neighborhood stores.
With a keen focus on meeting the ever-changing needs of the customer,
our concepts remain increasingly relevant. We serve an extremely loyal and
growing customer base and our business model is resilient, as demonstrated
through a variety of economic scenarios over time. We look forward to the
protable growth of our two banners for many years to come. The future of
Dollar Tree has never been brighter!
