5. 收益、其他收入及收益
收益亦即本集團之營業額，指售出貨品之發
票淨值，扣除增值稅、退貨及貿易折扣。

5. Revenue, Other Income and Gains
Revenue, which is also the Group’s turnover,
represents the net invoiced value of goods sold, net
of value-added tax and after allowances for returns
and trade discounts.
An analysis of revenue, other income and gains is as

* The government subsidies for the year represented
subsidies received from relevant authorities of the
Qingdao Municipality for advanced research and
development of washing machines and water heaters
and certain tax refunds received from a relevant
authority of the Wuhan Municipality.
** The compensation received from suppliers in the
prior year included a compensation of approximately
HK$9,078,000 received from Qingdao Haier
Parts Procurement Co., Ltd., an affiliate to Haier
Investment, for the supply of defective materials used
in the production of water heaters. The compensation
amount was determined with reference to actual
costs incurred by the Group.
* 年內政府補助金指附屬公司獲得青島市有關當局
給予有關洗衣機及熱水器之高新技術研究及開發
補助金以及武漢市有關當局所作出之若干退稅。
** 上年度已收供應商賠償包括來自海爾投資聯屬人
士—青島海爾零部件採購有限公司所供應用於生
產熱水器之瑕疵物料而收取之賠償約9,078,000
港元。賠償額乃經參考本集團所產生之實際成本
釐定。
