As owners, WestJetters know better than anyone why WestJet is not just
another airline. It’s because of their dedicated efforts that WestJet continues
to grow profitably year after year, striving to create a remarkable experience
for each of our guests. And
2011
was no exception – we achieved net earnings
of $149 million and broke the three-billion-dollar revenue threshold.
Approximately 84 per cent of our eligible WestJetters participate in our
employee share purchase plan and we take pride in the shared ownership
of our airline. Our caring culture and low-cost fundamentals will remain
the keys to success at WestJet as we continue to expand our reach.
