STANDING OUT – ENTERGY LOW-INCOME CHAMPIONS Patricia Rucker, Entergy Mississippi Customer Service
Entergy’s Low-Income Champions reach out to low-income advocacy organizations and find community partners to help
reach our goals. Today, more than 100 employees are working in teams with more than 3,000 government agencies,
non-profit organizations, churches, and low-income advocates across all of Entergy’s service territory.
As Louisiana’s largest
company and the leading
electric utility in the
Mid-South, Entergy has a
strong commitment to
economic development
and philanthropy in our
communities. In 2002,
Entergy provided approxi-
mately $11 million in cash
grants to non-profit
organizations. Helping our
neighbors is not a “cost
of doing business” but an
integral part of who we
are as a company.
