The Board of Directors and Shareholders
Hasbro, Inc.:
Under date of February 27, 2007, we reported on the consolidated balance sheets of Hasbro, Inc. and
subsidiaries as of December 31, 2006 and December 25, 2005, and the related consolidated statements of
operations, shareholders’ equity, and cash flows for each of the fiscal years in the three-year period ended
December 31, 2006, which are included in the Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2006. Our report
refers to a change in the accounting for pensions and other postretirement benefits other than pensions and a
change in the accounting for share-based payments. In connection with our audits of the aforementioned
consolidated financial statements, we also audited the related consolidated financial statement schedule of
Valuation and Qualifying Accounts in the Form 10-K. This financial statement schedule is the responsibility of
the Company’s management. Our responsibility is to express an opinion on this financial statement schedule
based on our audits.
In our opinion, such financial statement schedule, when considered in relation to the basic consolidated
financial statements taken as a whole, present fairly, in all material respects, the information set forth therein.
