Go-For-It Culture. An Eagle Scout and former U.S. Army major, Bill came to Capital One in 1997 as a site opera-
tions manager. After two promotions he now manages a team of technicians who provide computer support to
all of Capital One’s U.S. buildings. “I came here because I could see that everything was wide open. You don’t
have to do the same thing the same way every time. When you think you’ve found a better way, you can try it.
One reason children are so much fun is that they believe anything is possible. Capital One is like that.
