Call of Duty® ELITE Call of Duty ELITE launched alongside Call of Duty: Modern
Warfare 3 to deliver DLC to fans and enhance the multiplayer experience.
With more than 600,000 memberships sold in the fi rst week, GameStop’s
sales accounted for nearly two thirds of all Call of Duty ELITE memberships
sold. This serves as a profound example of our ability to attach DLC in the store.
Mobile Initiatives With mobile computing, shopping and gaming becoming
more prolifi c, GameStop recognized an opportunity to expand into some new
areas. In 2011, GameStop launched Kongregate Arcade, developed a new
mobile e-commerce site and iOS app, expanded our buy-sell-trade model into
iDevices and added gaming-certifi ed tablets to our product offerings.
