Itiscustomaryforthecompanytomakeavailabletoformerchairmenanddeputychairmen,whowerepreviouslyemployedexecutives,theuseofofce
andbasicsecretarialfacilitiesfollowingtheirretirement.Thecostinvolvedindoingsoisnotsignicant.

inshare-basedpayments.Short-termemployeebenetsincludescompensationforlossofofceof$3million(2009$6millionand2008$3million).
Post-retirementbenets
Theamountsrepresenttheestimatedcosttothegroupofprovidingdenedbenetpensionsandotherpost-retirementbenetstoseniormanagement
inrespectofthecurrentyearofservicemeasuredinaccordancewithIAS19‘EmployeeBenets’.

Thisisthecosttothegroupofseniormanagement’sparticipationinshare-basedpaymentplans,asmeasuredbythefairvalueofoptionsandshares
