Achieved record revenues of $90.8 bil-
lion, compared to $86.6 billion in 2013,
while reporting record core operating
earnings of $8.9 billion* and record core
earnings per share of $8.60*.
Added $152 billion in net new orders,
expanding our record company backlog
to $502 billion—more than five-and-a-
half times current annual revenues.
Generated strong operating cash flow
of $8.9 billion, and maintained healthy
liquidity with cash and marketable
securities of $13.1 billion.
Announced a further increase in
dividends of 25 percent for 2015 and
authorized $12 billion for the largest
share repurchase authorization in
company history.
Further extended market-share leader-
ship by delivering an industry record
723 commercial airplanes, with all
three Commercial Airplanes production
sites—Everett and Renton, Washington,
and North Charleston, South Carolina
setting new records for deliveries.
Delivered 179 military aircraft, along
with 10,998 weapons systems and five
satellites, despite extremely challenging
defense, space and security markets.
Booked a record 1,432 net new com-
mercial airplane orders, expanding our
largest-ever backlog to 5,789 airplanes
valued at $440 billion.
Maintained a Defense, Space & Security
backlog of $62 billion, 36 percent with
international customers, with new
and follow-on business that included
U.S. Navy contracts for 16 P-8A
Poseidons, and 44 E/A-18G Growler
and F/A-18 Super Hornet aircraft; a
U.S. Army contract for 82 Apache
Block III helicopters; and a $4.2 billion
NASA contract to build and fly the
Crew Space Transportation vehicle.
Achieved significant Commercial
Airplanes milestones, including
deliveries of the first Boeing 787-9
Dreamliner, the 8,000th 737 and
the 1,500th 747; start of part pro-
duction for the first 737 MAX; and
ground-breaking of the new 777X
composite centers in Everett,
Washington, and St. Louis.
Reached key Defense, Space & Security
milestones, including first flight test for
the KC-46A Tanker program; delivery
of the 100th EA-18G Growler to the
U.S. Navy; completion of the first two
all-electric–propulsion 702SP satellites;
delivery of the sixth P-8I aircraft to India
and eight P-8As to the U.S. Navy; and
delivery of the first of up to 215 U.S. Army
Chinooks under a multiyear contract.
