Reference: Purchase Agreement No. 2484 (the Purchase Agreement) between The Boeing Company (Boeing) and Continental Airlines, Inc.
(Customer) relating to Model 787 aircraft (Aircraft)
This letter agreement (Letter Agreement) amends and supplements the Purchase Agreement. All terms used but not defined in this Letter Agreement have the
same meaning as in the Purchase Agreement.
The Attachment A2 to Letter Agreement No. 6-1162-RCN-1937 contains performance guarantees ( Performance Guarantees) for the Block B model 787-9
Aircraft. Paragraph *** of the Performance Guarantees includes a *** guarantee ( ***) which will be effective and applicable to the Block B model 787-9
Aircraft in accordance with such Letter Agreement. Boeing offers the following program *** in the event that the guarantee compliance report furnished to
Customer for the Block B model 787-9 Aircraft pursuant to Article *** of the AGTA shows *** Guarantee.
1. Demontration of Compliance.
Article 5.4 of the AGTA and Letter Agreement No. 6-1162-RCN-1937 provide a procedure for demonstration of compliance with the Performance
