Message from CEO
products, were developing the digital future, bit by bit. Vision, coupled with effective risk-
management, is supporting our bid to become the number one digital company in Korea
and abroad.
Environment Policy
LGE is a respected global leader and thus is imposed with a great social responsibility.
In order to suffice such duties we have employed various environment protection activities
by establishing environment-oriented production system from blueprinting of a new
product to its disposal. For instance, we applied LCA(Life Cycle Assessment), and DFE
(Design for Environment) to our air conditioners and refrigerators. We will continue to
sponsor a earth environment preservation activities.
Maximize Shareholder’s Value
Demerger gives a brand new chance - a chance to create a new era for LG Electronics.
Management will not take this opportunity lightly and will strive towards most transparent
and focused company with much more clear company direction. We will hold a regular IR
meetings and will present more thorough picture of where LGE is heading. I’m sure by
doing this, we will be able to maximize shareholder’s value.
