Kia Motors ranked 74th (with a brand value of USD 5.4 billion) in the 2014 Best
Global Brands study released by Interbrand. This result represents a brand value
growth of 480% since 2007. Last year, Kia rose by nine spots from its 2013 ranking,
recording the largest jump in the automotive industry. In particular, Kia Motors
ranked 35th in Interbrand’s 2014 list of 50 Best Global Green Brands, and 1st
among domestic automakers. This impressive performance is a result of our efforts
aimed at enhancing Kia’s brand value through both sustained quality and design
management, alongside an impactful global brand campaign.
