The strength and diversity of our selective
distribution stands as a pillar of our success,
allowing us to build a unique presence in the
marketplace. A compelling shopping experience
is an important element in communicating the
essence of our Prestige Beauty brands and for
motivating consumers to purchase our products.
Thanks largely to the vision and boldness of our
Chairman Emeritus, Leonard A. Lauder, we
continue to pursue a selective distribution
strategy that defines us.
On a global basis, about half of our sales are to
department stores, such as Harvey Nichols and
Lane Crawford. We understand how to navigate
this vibrant and important channel to grow our
business, enhancing brand equity and forging
lasting relationships with our consumers.
